Basso, meaning low, sits close to the floor by design. Two sculpted walnut runners angle outward from the base like a sled, carrying a deep rounded seat and a soft pillow back set at an easy recline. The low stance makes it a chair you drop into rather than sit on, suited to a lounge corner, a reading spot, or a pair placed either side of a fireplace.
